14-Mar-2026 🛬 inboundFive Community Development Councils (CDCs), in partnership with the National Heritage Board and Government Technology Agency of Singapore, have introduced 5 walking trails. The Walking Trails @ CDC (Heritage Edition) will include a coastal trail in Woodlands, a Bedok trail tracing former coastlines and locations of military landmarks, and a Jurong scenic walk highlighting the iconic Stoneboat at the Chinese Garden. The trails will highlight landmarks such as Bukit Timah Railway Station, Little Guilin, Fort Canning Centre, East Coast Beach and Punggol Promenade Bridge. There will be 5 checkpoints in each route with bite-sized heritage stories and interactive content. The participants who managed to catch 5 CDC Ollies, digital owl mascots and a 6th special edition (similar to the popular Pokemon game) will receive a $10 USD reward. 20 heritage-themed trails will be introduced in the next 2 years. The flights will connect Frankfurt, London, Munich, and Paris. Singapore Airlines will operate additional flights to London from 18-25 Mar and one additional service to Frankfurt on 27 Mar. Lufthansa will add 4 additional flights between Singapore and Munich soon, in addition to its daily flights to the city.
